Built From Lived Experience And Community Need

Autism Advisory & Support Service, AASS, is a Liverpool-based autism support organisation established in 2007.

AASS was founded by Grace Fava OAM, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Her passion for autism support began when she was searching for services for her two sons, who both regressed with autism and global developmental delay.

Today, AASS supports autistic children, adults, families and carers through therapy, assessments, NDIS Support Coordination, family support, social groups, sensory resources and community programs.

AASS also operates social enterprise initiatives, including Somewhere Nice and the AASS Resource Store, which help create employment, training and community participation opportunities for people with disability and people facing barriers to work.

More Than A Single Service Provider

AASS is different because it brings several layers of support together under one organisation.

Families can access connected support across:

  • Therapy and assessment support
  • NDIS navigation and Support Coordination
  • Parent and carer support
  • Social participation programs
  • Sensory tools and resources
  • Community education and referrals
  • Employment preparation through social enterprise
  • Practical support for families at different stages of the autism journey

The main difference is the breadth of support. Families can access therapy, resources, guidance, social connection and practical pathways through one organisation rather than dealing with separate providers for every need.
